Welcome to The Railway Inn Darvel, a charming family-run pub and beer garden nestled in the heart of Darvel, East Ayrshire. Since August 2022, Kirsty and Andrew Park, along with their dedicated team, have been on a mission to rejuvenate this beloved establishment, transforming it into a vibrant hub for the community.
Our journey began with a vision of restoring The Railway Inn to its former glory, and we’ve been steadily making strides towards that goal ever since. Taking over a pub that had seen better days post-COVID presented its challenges, but with passion and perseverance, we’ve breathed new life into every corner.
At the helm of our team is Kirsty Park, the Licensee and co-owner, alongside Andrew Park, who brings his expertise as a full-time public health vet.

One of our proudest achievements has been the renovation of our premises, including the installation of a fully functioning kitchen. Now, we not only offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere but also a delectable array of pub food served daily from 8am – 8pm available to either dine in or takeaway.
From home-cooked meals to hand-made burgers, and hand-cut chips to wraps and snacks, our menu is crafted with care. All our dishes are brimming with flavour, and this is one of the reasons we are among some of the top restaurants in the area.
Beyond serving delicious pub food, The Railway Inn Darvel is committed to giving back to the community. We’re proud to support local charities through fundraising events, raffles, and more because we believe in making a positive impact wherever we can.
